Embed Timer
Build a responsive countdown timer for your website, preview it below, then copy one iframe. No account, library or external dependency is required.

How to Embed a Timer on a Website
- Choose the countdown. Set the duration and give the timer a short title that tells visitors what it measures.
- Choose the dimensions. The generated iframe uses the selected pixel height and a responsive width that cannot overflow its container.
- Preview and test. Start the preview, test its alarm and inspect it at the same width as the published content area.
- Copy and publish. Paste the iframe into an HTML or embed block, publish, then test again on desktop and mobile.
WordPress, Google Sites and Notion
WordPress
Add a Custom HTML block and paste the iframe code. Some hosted WordPress plans or security plugins remove iframes; if that happens, check the plan and allow-list settings rather than converting the code into ordinary text.
Google Sites
Choose Insert, Embed and Embed code, then paste the iframe. Resize the component in the editor until all controls fit without an internal scrollbar.
Notion
Notion's embed block generally expects a URL rather than complete iframe HTML. Copy the URL inside the generated src attribute and paste that URL into an Embed block. Support can vary with workspace security settings.
Accessibility, Privacy and Security
The generated iframe has a descriptive title, supports keyboard controls and uses a responsive maximum width. Do not rely on sound alone: explain what happens at zero in the surrounding page and keep a visible finish state. Give the frame enough height for controls at narrow widths.
The embedded timer runs in the visitor's browser. Its timer name and running state are kept in that browser's local storage; no account is required. The iframe loads from timer.now, so the hosting page must allow https://timer.now in its Content Security Policy if it restricts frames.
Embed Timer Limitations
Keep the hosting page open if an audible finish matters. A browser or operating system may suspend background audio, especially on a locked phone. A closed page cannot play an alarm. Read the full online timer accuracy and browser limitations before using an embed for a consequential deadline.
