Does the timer keep running if I close the tab?

The countdown lives in that browser tab, so closing it stops the timer. Reloading the same page, though, restores it - Every timer is anchored to your device's real clock. There's more on how this works on our About page.

Can I suggest a new feature or timer?

Yes, please. Loop lengths, alarm sounds, new tools - Tell us what would help. Many of our tools, like the Pomodoro timer and online stopwatch, started as user requests.
