How to Set Up a Birthday Countdown
Birthday does not have one universal date, so this page lets you choose the exact day and time that applies to you. Include the local start time rather than only the date if guests, students or colleagues need to arrive at a particular hour.
A birthday countdown needs the person's next birthday and the time zone where the celebration happens. Use midnight for the start of the birthday or enter the party time for a more practical deadline. Include a name in the event field before copying the shareable URL. For planning, work backward from the celebration: confirm guests and venue first, set an ordering deadline for anything personalized, and leave the final day for food, decorations and travel. A child's party, milestone birthday and long-distance video call need different checkpoints even when they share the same final date. Recheck the shared link after any time change.

For a consequential broadcast, booking or departure, confirm the official organizer's published time and use a calendar or system alarm as a separate reminder.
